Principle Cleaning Services signs up to support the Armed Forces

Principle Cleaning Services has signed up to the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant, a written, publicised, voluntary pledge to support those who have served in returning to civilian life and work.

The company, which has received the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Bronze award, will continue to grow the number of ex-forces personnel it employs, and will offer an additional route of employment for those leaving service through its affiliation with the Career Transitional Partnership (CTP).

It will also support service spouses and partners by partnering with the Forces Families Jobs Forum (FFJF), as well as providing flexible leave options to assist with deployment and training.

Lilia Lamberto, Director of People and Culture, Principle Cleaning Services, said: “We are proud to promote our armed forces-friendly status and recognise the value, expertise, and wide range of transferable skills that those who have served our country and their families bring, both to our business and the wider working environment. We are looking forward to working with both the CTP and the FFJF to provide more employment opportunities for those returning to civilian life.”

Principle has also pledged to support Armed Forces Day, Reserves Day, the Poppy Appeal, and Remembrance activities; and armed forces charities with fundraising and volunteering.
