Highly Experienced Operations Director Joins Principle Cleaning

Principle Cleaning has announced the appointment of Tom Lloyd to its expanding Senior Management team. To assist in the company’s continued business growth, the London-based company welcomes Tom to the proficient team as one of the company’s Operations Directors.
Starting his career in the cleaning industry, Tom joined Rentokil Initial on a graduate programme from university where he stayed for five years before moving onto work at Strand Cleaning as Account Director, managing large contracts in Central London. After three years, he became Senior Director at Regular Cleaning where he stayed for five years before now joining Principle Cleaning.
With a proven track record of running all aspects of operations in the cleaning industry, Tom will be overseeing a number of prestigious London contracts for Principle Cleaning in his new role, such as The Shard, 20 Fenchurch Street, Lloyd’s of London, 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin) and Standard Chartered Bank.
After the appointment, he said: “I welcome the opportunity of working with such a well-respected organisation as Principle Cleaning. I have previously worked and know a number of the key staff there and look forward to getting to know the company’s valued clients. This is a great time to be joining the company as it expands even further into next year.”
Principle Cleaning, founded by Doug Cooke in 1989, now has a £30million turnover and 1,500 staff. The company has also increased its client base now cleaning a portfolio of prestigious buildings for a range of clients throughout London. It was the first cleaning company in Europe to gain CIMS accreditation and has recently won another Golden Service Award to add to its collection.
