Mitie’s Environmental+ rebranded to Clean Environments

Published on 05/05/2016
Mitie has today announced the rebrand of its cleaning business, Environmental+, to Clean Environments. The rebranded business better reflects the increasing number of services it delivers and the sectors in which Mitie operates.
These have grown to include contract cleaning, food hygiene, window cleaning, technical and industrial cleaning, events management and flooring renovation. The Clean Environments business has seen particular growth in healthcare with the introduction of patient dining, domestic services and porterage services.
Focused on helping Mitie’s clients improve the surroundings of their employees, visitors and customers, Clean Environments is one of Mitie’s largest offerings with more than 30,000 employees working across the UK.
Bob Forsyth, Managing Director of Security and Clean Environments said: “What we deliver has evolved, and our services encompass far more than cleaning. As we have continued to broaden our offering to meet the needs of our clients, we felt that the Environmental+ brand needed updating to represent our true proposition.
“The rebranded business reflects our ongoing transition to a company well beyond our cleaning heritage and reflects how the business is evolving through the implementation of pioneering processes and systems, exceptional people engagement and sustainable delivery enabled by technology.
“Clean Environments will continue to promote innovation and the use of technology to improve the working lives of our people and the efficient running of contracts for our clients.”
Rolling out throughout 2016 from early May, the Clean Environments brand represents a strong ethos of building a sustainable business for the good of its people and clients.
