When safety flooring installed throughout Dowding Vets’ Gainsborough site proved resistant to mop cleaning, a call to a specialist was in order.
After the practice manager chatted over the phone with Prochem’s tech team, the company organised a site visit for Regional Sales Representative, James Callaghan.
James said: “The practice had safety flooring throughout, which was proving difficult to clean with manual mops due to its non-slip nature, so traditional methods such as manual mopping and rotary machines were proving ineffective.”
James demonstrated cleaning the floors by applying Prochem’s Ultrapac Renovate using a Lindhaus LW30 (240v) with a microfibre roller. A multi-functional lightweight floor scrubber dryer, the LW30 offers high speed brush action and forward and reverse cleaning for confined areas.
Dowding Vets were delighted and bought into the solution: the supply and install was carried out by Prochem’s local distributor, Richard Mangan at Crystal Clear in Hull.
Richard commented: “The Lindhaus was a winner, being easy to use and manoeuvrable. Its roller holds the water and chemical in contact with the floor with an increased contact time, improving the cleaning outcome to a higher standard.”
When it comes to healthcare, it pays not to forget the needs of our pets, says James. He added: “There are over five thousand veterinary practices in the UK. Their hygiene needs can be as exacting as those of hospitals and care homes, making for a market offering good business prospects for professional cleaners in their locality.”
