High demand moves Cleaning Interactive to October

High international demand sees Cleaning Interactive move to new date in October

Cleaning Interactive, the cleaning industry’s first high-tech event incorporating visualisation technology, will now take place online on 6-7 October 2020.

This decision follows close consultation with key players in the international cleaning industry who have requested the move to allow them time to finalise their showcases after the holiday season.

This new digital event, incorporating virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) is one of the most highly anticipated industry events and has received a fantastic response from innovative companies who want to do serious business.

Some of the fresh-thinking organisations and brands who have already committed to being involved in this world first virtual cleaning event include the British Institute of Cleaning Science; Bunzl Cleaning & Hygiene Supplies; CBRE; Churchill Group Services; Denis Rawlins; Incentive QAS; Katrin; Metsä; Metzger; the National Carpet Cleaners Association; and the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners.

In addition to widespread support from the cleaning and FM industries, the event has also gained interest from an extensive range of vertical markets, amongst which include government, healthcare, manufacturing, public transport, and the recycling/waste management sector.

Free to attend, this virtual showcase delivers all the standard features of a live trade show while taking online relations to another level. The format allows more people that wouldn’t traditionally have gone to live events to interact and take part as well. The event enables the cleaning industry to safely and effectively engage with valuable new customers whilst showcasing their innovations.

Created by CBI VR Experiences Limited, sister company of longstanding cleaning industry PR agency Ceris Burns International, it is backed by an extensive PR and marketing campaign.

Ceris Burns, Managing Director of CBI VR Experiences, said: “Ground-breaking innovations take time and investment to develop. By allowing companies more time to prepare, they will be able to really amplify this showcase opportunity. The market is ripe for something new, that grabs attention, drives business and is cost-effective.”

Special features of the event include an interactive stage, with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) for an almost full sensory experience. Top tier exhibitors will be able to demonstrate their products from an immersive studio, with bespoke 3Dsets, and mixed reality elements to add impact. Visitors will step into the presenter’s world virtually, with questions being answered there and then. This real time contact between the presenter and their audience will enable instant engagement and discussion, making it feel as close as possible to an in-person, physical connection.

The Indie stage will provide a second space for participating companies to deliver flexible format sessions including private online meetings, panel discussions, corporate presentations, product demonstrations and more. Sessions can be live, semi-live or pre-recorded in line with the exhibitors’ preference.

The final of the ‘Meet the Buyer’ competition will also take place to celebrate industry trailblazers. A panel of high-profile buyers will invite 20 companies to hone their pitches and take part in a competition for the accolade of best innovation. This will culminate in five finalists presenting privately, live to the buyers on the Interactive Stage, with top contracts on offer.
