Zenith Hygiene Announce Completion Of Acquisition Of CCL Pentasol

Zenith Hygiene Group is delighted to announce that it has completed the acquisition of CCL Pentasol (‘CCLP’), a UK-based supplier of chemicals for the Food, Dairy, Brewing, Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries for an undisclosed sum.

CCL Pentasol, and the entirety of its 51 employees, will join the growing portfolio of brands within the Zenith Hygiene Group and will considerably add to Zenith’s expertise by adding new growing markets such as Water Treatment, and industries such as Food, Dairy, Brewing, Beverage and Pharmaceutical to its portfolio. The acquisition further strengthens Zenith Hygiene’s position with the Group now having in excess of 450 employees.

The first part of the integration process will see CCL Pentasol’s Water Treatment division rebranded as Zenith Water Engineering. Global water demand is expected to surpass availability by 2050, and this will significantly increase the pressure on domestic and industrial water supplies, with the main factors impacting on water availability in the UK being: population growth, urbanisation, changes in consumer habits and climate change. Zenith will leverage CCLP’s experience, innovation and in-depth audits to ensure maximisation of performance whilst keeping running costs and water usage at a cost-effective level for Zenith’s customers.
