Following the acquisition of BPI Recycled Products by RPC Group Plc, the new name for the business has been formally announced as RPC bpi recycled products. The company was part of British Polythene Industries plc until it was purchased by RPC Group Plc in August 2016.
RPC bpi recycled products has been reorganised into four key business groups; Refuse, Recycling, Visqueen Ultimate Building Products and Plaswood. The refuse business, which is now known as RPC bpi refuse, has recently launched a new website www.bpi-refuse.com to support its innovative manufacturing and award winning products, such as the Green Sack™, manufactured from 100% recycled British farm waste plastic.
The new, easy to navigate site offers customers clear messages and the benefits of its product offerings across four key industry sectors: facilities management, healthcare, local authority and retail.
Gerry McGarry, Managing Director, RPC bpi recycled products said: “Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We have continually invested and innovated for more than 30 years which is why we are the market leading manufacturer and supplier of refuse sacks and ancillary products. Not only do we produce more than 30 million refuse sacks per week, we are also at the forefront of the circular economy as Europe’s largest recycler of waste polythene.
“We have created the UK’s largest polythene recycling infrastructure across our four Environment Agency accredited UK sites, with the ability to reprocess more than 70,000 tonnes each year of post-use material from commercial, retail, industrial and agricultural markets.”
RPC bpi refuse will be at The Cleaning Show, ExCel, London, 14 -16 March 2017 on stand B06.
