Finalists Announced For The Inaugural European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards 2016

Finalists for the European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards 2016 have been announced. These new awards recognise standards of excellence in the professional cleaning sector across Europe and will be presented for the first time on 29 September at a gala dinner in Barcelona.

From almost 100 entries submitted by service providers, manufacturers and distributors the judges have now selected those that will go forward as finalists in the 10 categories, with the winners being decided by a multi-national judging panel in Barcelona.

The panel is made up of European Cleaning Journal Editor Michelle Marshall; industry consultant Jean-Marc Flaux (France); Director of contract cleaning association BIV Johannes Bungart (Germany); President of contract cleaning association ASPEL Juan Díez de los Ríos de San Juan (Spain); and industry consultant Lynn Webster (UK).

“We had an exceptional number of quality entries that made the judging in some categories extremely difficult, but have resulted in some very credible finalists being announced from across the many countries represented.”
