Leading hand dryer designer and manufacturer, Airdri, is starting 2020 on a high with the addition of two new senior hires to bolster its team.

The firm, which last year marked 45 years in the hand dryer industry, has appointed Simon Green as Head of Value Engineering, Sourcing and Quality, and Luis Orozco as Senior Electronics Engineer.

Simon joins Airdri from iPRO Solutions Ltd, bringing with him over 20 years’ experience in product design and engineering. He will be responsible for R&D, production process, component sourcing, supply chain and quality across Airdri’s UK and China operations.

Simon commented: “It’s fantastic to be working across Airdri’s global facilities, helping the firm to deliver on its exciting new product development plans. Airdri has an outstanding reputation for creating beautifully designed products and I’m very much looking forward to being a part of a business that puts sustainability at the heart of its operations.”

Luis, who has worked as a design engineer in the automotive industry for over a decade, will take on the role of designing new electronic boards for Airdri’s next generation of hand dryers. He said: “I am delighted to join the team at Airdri. The firm has an excellent reputation for creating reliable, cutting-edge products and I’m really looking forward to applying my experience to a new sector, helping the company achieve its product development vision.”

Airdri CEO, Tony Wall, added: “I am thrilled to welcome Simon and Luis to the Airdri team. They are joining us at a very exciting time, as we look to expand into new markets and stay ahead of the curve with new product development. We are poised for strong growth in 2020 and their appointments will significantly bolster our team of experts, helping us to deliver our vision for the next generation of cutting-edge washroom solutions.”
