ISSA Innovation Award Winners Announced

The winners of this year’s ISSA Innovation Award Program were announced during ISSA Excellence Award Ceremony on the final day of the ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America trade show in Orlando, Florida.

This year’s ISSA Innovation Award Program featured more than 50 innovative products and services from manufacturers and service providers throughout the cleaning industry. Products and services were entered in five unique categories: Cleaning Agents, Dispensers, Equipment, Services & Technology, and Supplies. Industry distributors, wholesalers, and facility service providers voted to determine the award winners.

Anthony Trombetta, ISSA Director of Sales, said: “The ISSA Innovation Award Program was a great success from the start with a lot of enthusiasm from participants and voters alike. We congratulate the winning entries and look forward to featuring more new and exciting products in next year’s lineup.”

For the 2014 Innovation Award Program, eligible voters determined five category winners exclusively on the ISSA website from the beginning of August through to the end of October. Then, during ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America, entries were on display in the Innovation Showcase and voters selected the five Visitors’ Choice award winners.

Picking up the award for the Cleaning Agents category was 3M Commercial Solutions, for their Scotchgard Resilient Floor Protector, while Tennant won in the Dispensers category with their Orbio os3 System. Kärcher’s BR 35/12 C Bp won in the Equipment category, and Americo Manufacturing were successful in the Supplies category for their Full Cycle Floor Pads. Elsewhere, CleanTelligent Software won the award for Services and Technology.

Meanwhile, Kärcher also picked up a Visitors’ Choice Award for the BR 35/12 C Bp, alongside NSS Enterprises, for their e-Force Burnisher, Rubbermaid’s Quick Cart, CompuClean, from Spartan Chemical Co. and Ultimate Solution’s i-mop.
