Toilets in Stockport 'ideal' for small businesses
Unused public toilets in Stockport, near Manchester, have been put up for sale by the local council as ideal premises for smaller businesses!
The toilets are currently valued at between £25,000 and £50,000 and are based in Hazel Grove, Marple, Cheadle, Edgeley, Mellor and Woodley Stockport Council's executive member for regeneration Kevin Hogg told the BBC that the buildings had been tried as toilets but were victims of vandalism. He also said that two toilets have already been converted into a car dealership and a solicitors’ office. Mr Hogg was also quick to add that the sale of the facilities would not impact on the number of public conveniences, as the council was working to ensure other toilets were available. |
