Funding offer for technical certificates

Government funding is available for facilities management and cleaning employers to put staff through training for many technical certificates, including Cleaning Principles, Customer Service and Team leading. Technical certificates are specialist courses that link to key components of a set job role.

C diff deaths down by 31%

The national office of statistics (ONS) has announced that the number of death certificates mentioning Clostridium difficile (C. difficile) infection in England and Wales decreased by 31% last year, down to 2,704 from 3,933 in 2009.
